What to do if a student is late for school PDF Print E-mail

If a student arrives late to school, he or she will fill out a ‘Late Note' form at the School Office and have his or her name recorded in the ‘Late Book'.  The student will carry that form to each class for the day and have each lesson signed for by the appropriate teacher.  If the student has a parent note, it should be attached to the form, if not, the form should be taken home and the parent’s written comment added to it.  The completed form should be handed into the School Office the next day as evidence of attendance.  A student will not be marked present until this form is completed.  It is the student’s responsibility to prove attendance to the Roll Teacher.

With the WebAttend system in place, an email message to a parent/guardian will be sent if the late student arrives before 10.30 am informing them of the late arrival. This email generally is sent before 12.00 pm.
