The St Ives High School Music Department is pleased to be able to offer the opportunity to learn an instrument or develop their voice during school time. This opportunity is for students who are participating in Rock Bands, the Band Program or the PAU Musical Theatre class.  For further information contact Mrs S. Instruments

The Music Tutorial Instrumental program has been created for students to learn their instruments in order to perform in school bands and at school functions. As part of this program, students are expected to come together to create rock/jazz bands, or be a part of the Concert/Stage Band.

(Private tuition – lessons are subject to demand)

Time:    Takes place during class lessons throughout week.  Once enrolled, you will be notified of your lesson time by a timetable outside the Music staffroom.

Cost: $30 per lesson (30 minutes)
 
Voice
The Vocal Tutorial program caters for students in the PAU Musical Theatre course to prepare individual performance. Vocal tutoring is also available for music students specializing in voice and requiring performance training.  Students will learn new techniques, enabling them to further expand their range and control over both their voice and breathing. Performance opportunities will also be made available.

Lessons takes place during class time. Once enrolled, you will be notified of your lesson time by a timetable outside the music staffroom.

Cost: $30 per lesson (30 minutes)
